Ingredients
- 2 slices thick bread
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp butter
- Salt and black pepper
- Chopped chives, optional
Instructions
- Use the back of a spoon to press a shallow well into each bread slice.
- Butter the bread and place it in the air fryer basket.
- Crack an egg into each well and season.
- Air fry at 340°F (170°C) for 7–8 minutes, until the whites are set.
- Finish with chives.

For a firmer yolk, add one or two more minutes.
