Ingredients
- 1½ lb chicken tenders
- ½ cup flour
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1½ cups panko breadcrumbs
- 1 tbsp lemon zest
- 1 tsp cracked black pepper
- 1 tsp salt
- Cooking spray
Instructions
- Set up three bowls: flour, eggs, and panko mixed with lemon zest, pepper, and salt.
- Coat each tender in flour, egg, and seasoned panko.
- Spray the basket and both sides of the tenders lightly with oil.
- Air fry at 390°F (199°C) for 6 minutes, flip, then cook 5–6 minutes more.
- Finish with a squeeze of fresh lemon.
